​Our Vision and Mission Statement

 

At Scallywags Pre-School we are committed to making your child the centre of our work. We recognise that parents/guardians are children’s first educators and we aim to work closely with you as your child creates, explores, imagines, learns and develops.

 

We achieve this by:

 

· Creating a safe, welcoming, friendly environment for both the child and parent/guardian

 

· Ensuring that the children feel valued, included, supported and respected by their 'key people', who plan for the children’s needs though evidence based practice that enrich each child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, cognitive and creative abilities

 

· Having practitioners who are involved in your child’s play sharing conversations that promote and extend language and interests.

We aim to foster each child’s uniqueness and individuality and provide a diverse range of experiences as they work toward common goals within the Early Years Foundation Stage

 

We are committed to providing positive role models for the children in our care. We advocate a sense of belonging and strive to develop self-esteem through fun, love, respect, teamwork and equality
